I hope all my lovely followers are well, I am sorry about my absence but I will be back more frequently soon!

Would You Rather - Blogger Tag

1. Would you rather be able to apply eyeliner perfectly or be able to contour like Kim Kardashian?

Is both an option?! Hahah! Probably perfect eyeliner because I'm not very tanned or anything and I think for a Kim K contour I need to be more tanned & stuff! Chloe Morello's eyeliner skills please and thank you.

2. Would you rather wear foundation which is two shades lighter or two shades darker?

Probably two shades lighter because you can bronze up the outside of your face & neck so you look like you have highlighted but it's so hard to blend a darker foundation!

3. Would you rather wear no lipstick ever again or no eyeliner ever again?

This is a hard one :( probably no eyeliner because I don't really do a wing or anything often so I can really change my look with a lipstick!

4. Would you rather give up your foundation or your mascara?

Uh foundation. Eyelashes look weird with foundation on and no mascara.. I need mascara in my life.

5. Would you rather apply your makeup yourself with no mirror whilst on a bumpy car journey or ask a 5 year old child to do it?

Myself in the car! It's easy when you pick the right times and use the right products, stick foundation, pressed powder, builds me blush! Always less is more in the car but!

6. Would you rather wear exactly the same makeup every single day for the rest of your life or drastically change your makeup every single day for the rest of your life (even if it doesn’t suit you!)?

Probably the same makeup everyday because I don't have the confidence to pull off changing my makeup! Or have enough ideas to change it every day!

7. Would rather have dodgy brows or have patchy fake tan?

Patchy fake tan.. You can hide that or exfoliate that but dodgy eyebrows are always there...

8. Would you rather have perfectly white teeth or have your perfect hairstyle?

Probably the perfect hair style because my teeth aren't straight so there isn't really much use for them to be perfectly white. However, if I was getting straight & white teeth or perfect hair id take the teeth!
9. Would you rather wear the same colour nail varnish for the rest of your life or be able to change the colours of your varnish whenever you like but it’s always a little bit smudged?

Change whenever I like! I need to have atleast 2 colours a week. And it's always smudged anyway!

10. Would you rather have lots of scented body and perfume products that smell
amazing to you but to everyone else you smell like pine tree car air freshener or have products that smell average to you but smell incredible to those around you?

Smell incredible to everyone around me! I don't even smell myself when I have my best perfumes on so I may as well smell good to everyone else!

I love doing tags, so now I'm tagging EVERYONE in this!

Links I'm Loving #1

I spend a lot of time online, mostly on Pinterest or online shopping, and I find a lot of things I want to buy or make that i really want to share with everyone but never know how. So I have decided I would start sharing the links I love! This week there are four links that have been open on my browser all week, one fashion, one hair styling, one makeup and one food!

(Left to right, non of these images are my own. credit in description)

I have been looking for some more going out clothing since I turn 18 at the end of the month and I found this singlet on Forever New. I love it, so simple but so easy to dress up, and also to have for a casual occasion! I would probably pair this with a light skinny jean, black strippy heals and a blazer. It also easy to pair with any accessories! And its on sale which I always love, it is in my to buy pile!

I have also been looking for a larger barrelled hair curler as I have a 19mm at the moment, however this one is 25mm so I think I am going to buy it next week after I do a little more research based on my hair length and if it will work in my hair! This product is from Priceline, and once again a cheap product but still good quality.

The Balm Meet Matt(e) Eyeshadow Pallette I need an all matte palette and I have been swooning over this one lately, because to be honest I don't really like shimmers and they are all I have! This has a pretty wide range of colours that would be easy to mix to fit a lot of situations so it is on my birthday list! If you know of any other palletes please let me know in the comments!

Choc-Cherry Bliss Balls I made my first batch of bliss balls on Thursday and iv already eaten most of them! They are easy, yummy and guilt free, so I'm planning on making these on saturday/Sunday and a few other heathy treats I can take to uni easily! If you have any other recipes you think I might like please let me know

So hopefully these links give you some inspiration or just show you a product you might like!
Thanks for reading! Xx

Benefit Complementary Makeup Lesson!

Hey everyone!
So if you follow me or Laura on Instagram then you would know that on monday we had a free complementary makeup lesson at Benefit. We both purchased 'Porefessional' last wednesday and were told we qualified for this opportunity and jumped at it.
Quick selfie after our makeup lesson! Laura, Priscilla, Me (eyes closed as usual)

So during our morning uni break on monday we headed into Pitt Street Mall and were welcomed by Priscilla (who you should all go and follow on Instagram!) She then taught us the basics of a perfect complexion and about highlighting and contouring, which I was the WORST at!

These are all the products that Priscilla used on me during the lesson. I also loved this experience as it gave me the opportunity to try out some products during the whole day to see what best suited me and my skin.

The first product used was the Triple Performing Facial Emulsion, just a full face moisturiser used as a pre-primer base, and to ensure the makeup didn't dry my skin out. Then for a primer, I was able to try out something other then professional which I loved seeing as I have it at home and I'm able to use it whenever I want, so I tried the Dr Feel Good Primer, which comes in balm form. I found that it worked well and kept my makeup on for the whole day, however I won't be rushing out to buy it as I prefer the tube form! Obviously, for foundation we used Hello Flawless in Champagne, which isn't the right foundation for my skin but I still loved trying it! By the end of the day it had pretty much worn off, even though I didn't look oily, it was more of a tinted moisturiser like coverage for me.  To cover my ridiculous dark circles, Priscilla used Fakeup, in god knows what shade, but I loved this product, moisturing and good coverage! Then obviously to set, a touch of Hello Flawless powder around the t-zone and blended out to the rest of the face! A little tip we were taught was that you can use eye primer even when you aren't wearing eyeshadow just to cover unevenness on the eyelid.. yep, me.. My eyes like brown, all the time :( Now my favourite part of the lesson, how to contour, using Hoola, being able to feel someone contouring your face while watching in a mirror makes it so much easier to contour when you get home! To set it all, Priscilla used Ultra Radiance Facial re-Hydrating Mist, which I honestly think helped to keep my makeup on all day, and it worked. It also make my face feel hydrated all day long.

The whole experience was so worthwhile and amazing and it was really interesting to have someone talk me through as they were doing my makeup. I am also really interested in purchasing some of these products in the future now that I know that they work on me!

Have you tried any of these products or had one of these complementary makeup lessons?
Thanks for reading

Natio Skincare Review!

About 2 weeks ago I posted a photo onto Instagram of some new Natio skincare that I purchased and the free gift I received with it. As soon as I purchased it, I wanted to do a review, but I knew I had to wait until I had used it for a while to see how it worked with my skin and if it was right, so, the wait is over, I am happy to announce that I love the products.
Below are the product I purchased, and this review does not include anything about the free gift, only the skincare within the Natio range 'Acne'

These photos were taken from the Natio website, I do not take any credit to them or claim that they are mine in any way.
So the three products within the range 'Acne' that i purchased were the Dual Action Cleanser and Toner, Detoxifying Face Scrub with Jojoba beads and the Daily Repair Oil Free Moisturiser. I never had major acne problems as I stated in my last post, however I did get a few large blemishes and a few spots which sat under the skin causing an uneven surface. I also experienced a fair bit of redness around my nose and cheek area, which these products have also helped to remove.
Obviously I use these three products in conjunction with each other for the best results, and I have been pleasantly surprised with how well they have worked. I use the scrub about 3 times a week and the wash once a day, using a dove face wash in the morning as my face is mostly clean from the night before, and obviously the moisturiser once a day because I use a night cream.
Together, these products have significantly reduced the appearance of my blemishes and have also stopped new blemishes forming, apart from the odd one here and there, and lets face it, who NEVER gets a pimple? No one.. yeah thats what I thought..(if you can answer 'I don't' to this question, please don't leave me a comment or ill cry.. just a warning!)
I also find that the light scrub has reduced redness and pigmentation around my cheek and nose area. The moisturiser also does exactly what it says it will, and successfully controls oil on my face throughout the day.

All three products together only cost around $40, which for a skin care that actually works isn't expensive, and Myer currently have a promotion where you get a free makeup bag and products valued at $61 when you spend over $38, while stocks last, which makes it all the more enticing to purchase these products.
If you have any problems with oil control or Acne I would definitely recommend you try these products! There is a few other products that are also available within this range!
Have you tried any Natio products? What was your experience like?
Thanks for reading beauties! Xx
