This years Oscars showed a range of makeup styles, from classic, to nude, and feature plum lips. I personally don't think there was one beautiful woman who's makeup was not perfect this year, however, these four were my favourite looks!
Jennifer Laurence: Her look it flawless. I love the nude face, the nude lip, the nude eye, the defined but undefined eyebrows. PERFECT. And it made her red dress absolutely pop. This look is also amazing with the minimal accessorising, I love the chain falling to the back instead of the classic front falling. I also love the minimal hair, looking like she just rolled out of bed. Jen always manages to look amazing, and gracefully stumble! Thankfully this year it was only a little one on the runway! As per usual she looks absolutely amazing, and comfortable for the night which I think is a must on a runway.
Sandra Bullock: Sandra's look is once again flawless, and classic. The brown smokey eye and huge lashes are the obvious feature of this look, with everything else soft in comparison. The combination of colours in her makeup and her gown work perfectly together, and her hair works perfectly with the neckline of her dress! I also love the once again simple accessories that have been paired with this look. The large earrings don't overpower the dress but add some body to that side of her face without her hair being on both sides.
Margo Robbie: Margo's look is definitely different to what it would usually be, obviously when you go from blonde hair to dark brown it is VERY different. However, I still LOVE it. I think the dark hair and dark lip look amazing together, especially with the lip being the focus and her eyes being understated. But, there could be a little more colour in her cheeks. I also love the dress, unlike some others who have put her on the worst dressed list this year. I think its classic, but with a bit of a twist thanks to the beaded & sequin detail on the bodice.
Kate Hudson: Has Kate Hudson ever looked bad? I honestly do not think its possible and the Oscars this year was no exception to the rule. Once again, another simple look seen at the oscars, however Kate has all the right features highlighted. The simple smokey eye makes her amazing blue eyes pop, alone with the rest of the face being nude forcing everyone to focus on her eyes. Her hair and accessories, similar to Sandra's work well together without overpowering each other and once again add body to the other side of the face. And yet another amazing dress, hugging all the right curves, dipping in all the right places, and who knew shoulder pads could look so amazing?
